Introducing Mrs. Hip-Hop

This is a blog site for those of you who have something real to say about a certain rapper or singer. This site is for the "Hip-Hop/ R&B" community. This is your platform to go in on some of these "artists" and let them know how you, as a fan (or not) feel about their presence in the game. Please do not post anything hateful. Make sure that when you do comment on a certain entertainer that you support your view point. Please be logical and keep it real. You can praise an artist or tell them a thing or two about themselves.
Y'all probably wondering why would I want to create a blog like this? Well, I believe that the world is screwed up because of these "so-called" entertainers. It is because of what they represent and how they represent mislead the mind of today's youth and African-American communities. We must understand that Hip-Hop is a culture not a business and that what is going on in today's rap game should not be accepted. Most of these rappers need to be on the hot seat, answering to why they are feeding the community dreams, fantasy and bullsh*t. Hip-Hop was supposed to be that force for African-Americans and the likes, to rise above and put our people in a better position. But these rappers are using the "little people" at their expense. When are you going to take your mind back and think your own thoughts? Why not start now? Callin' Out Names is the perfect start.
I just want to bring awareness to this crazy industry and let them know that they are not fooling anyone. We are not mindless people, we are very mindful. And they need to listen to what we have to say. Please enjoy and take notes.

  2. I agree with you regarding the sad state of affairs in entertainment in general and Hip Hop specifically. Hip Hop, however, is a culture AND a business like it or not and there's a sh*tload of money being made.

'the world is screwed up' because of entertainers. Hm, a bit of hyperbole, no? Again, I agree that society appears to be in trouble but we can hardly blame it on entertainers. After all the companies that package and market these "artists" are in the business of giving people what they want. There would be no Lil Waynes, Nicki Minajs etc. if people weren't buying what they put out. There are lots of great artists out there who people have never heard of because they don't get down with the add water and stir type of music that's dominating the airwaves.

Go in on the entertainers, sure. Just keep in mind that there are PLENTY of people buying what they're selling.
